At 1st I thought MobaXterm was piggybacking on Windows 10's settings syncing, but that explanation didn't make sense since AFAIK only apps that use the Microsoft Store can do that, and even then the sync occurs only at new installations, not across existing ones. I discovered this recently when I went to add a new connection that was already on my desktop to my laptop, only to find that it was already there.

I've found it indispensable for Unix & Unix-like remote machine management from Windows. I use it for the same reasons everyone mentioned. Putty/WinSCP - you probably won't see any value - I'd hit the product page, look at the feature set, and see if there is actually anything that can help you or your business.
